Decision aid concept
I co-designed a prototype for a decision aid that supports patients and their doctors when discussing chemotherapy options for the treatment of terminal lung cancer. Our entry won first place in Health 2.0's CHCF Decision Aid Upgrade Challenge.
Designed to be used as a guide during an office visit, our prototype helps patients and their families understand what they’re facing, what their options are, and what the experience will be like. It gives them space to reflect on and share what really matters to them and how that might affect their treatment decisions. For clinicians, it serves as a prompt and cheat sheet to support these sensitive discussions.
